The Piece

The raw table makes no attempt to be perfect. That is the point. The live edge — the natural outer boundary of the wood — is kept exactly as it was found, bringing the texture, the grain, and the character of the original tree into the room. No two are the same. This is what a table looks like when it is allowed to be entirely itself.
